Those 2 may be friends but they are fierce rivals now. Rockets can over take Thunder this year if every thing goes right.
Don't care about what Simmons has on his face, but man, nice interview! Want to see the rest of it. Like everyone else, probably, I can't stop imagining KD on the Rocks with James, Dwight, and Chandler, along with Jeremy, Omer and the rest of the guys. Drooling just thinking about it! That lineup has championships written all over it. Dynasty, baby.
It looks to me like he says "**** yeah" rather than "**** yall" in the first vid. In the second vid, we cant really complain because Beverly injured Westbrook on the exact same sort of play. I think he was definitely trying to get some payback though.
Well I think Beverley's was clearly accidental, and he was just trying to make a play on the ball. KD was just being a b****, and purposely went after Lin's injured arm to get 'revenge'. Man, I had forgotten how heated this entire series was.
We will agree to disagree about what he says in the first one I know the play when Beverly injured Westbrook has been talked about over and over, but to me, Westbrook was still dribbling when Beverly made a move on the ball. Beverly's hip came into contact with Westbrook's knee as he extended his leg forward. Really unfortunate, but I don't think it was intentional. Lin had picked up his dribble, and Durant went right after the area that Lin was already injured in. After that, he stared back at the Rocket's bench before walking off the court. It just appeared, to me, to be a classless play by a guy who is normally an all-around class act. Probably just a fierce competitor caught up in the intensity of the playoffs.
Durants up there with Timmy d in terms of being a nice guy with all world top level hof talent. Guys like him are rare cause if you look at the best players to play I can only say manic was like them. There not the mj Kobe bird players that want to rip ur head off and there also not like Hakeem lebron or shaq who while not as mean as the other three still had the f u I'm The best attitude. Now don't get me wrong Timmy d and durant want it just as bad as the other guys they just don't show it like the othe top level talents that have played the game. Durants def on those guys level he's just a much nicer guy. I think that instance against the rockets was alot of things. 1) once Westbrook went out I think he knew his season was over. 2) he was going against harden his good friend and to him the best guard in basketball 3) h mentioned he sees alot of the thunder in the rockets in terms of young talent so I think it was even more motivation to beat the rockets at all cost. I think that okc won't win a ring and the rockets will over the next 4 yrs I see the titles coming down to 2 teams the rockets and whatever team lebron plays for. I don't think ppl give the rocket enough credit were very good and could potentially be the best team in basketball this yr. hardens a rockstar and a top ( player the player in the league know this now the fans will see this yr. then Dwight's the best possible player to team up with harden besides durant and lebron so I reality the rockets are sitting fat down south lol

That is such a "Homer's list as to why Durant would choose Houston"...... 1.) it's easy to have chemistry with a 6th man who only shoots 3's when open (JH's unwritten role in OKC), what about now that Harden's role has changed? 2.) Yeah he probably said that because he felt he was dominating us (which he was), not because he loves Houston so much 3.) How do you know he loves Texas so much? Because he went to UT? Because he actually grew up loving another team....http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/kevin-durant-wanted-play-toronto-raptors-kid-222412883--nba.html 4.) Dwight Howard vs Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka....not everyone thinks this as one-sided as we do. 5.) And KD doesn't do the nightlife like JH does, he's a little different http://savoynetwork.com/kevin-durant-announces-plans-to-bring-upscale-southern-dining-to-oklahoma-city/....plus he just got married, so the nightlife probably isn't that big of a deal to him
Note: I don't think this will happen, but it's not like there's anything else to talk about during the summer. So hypothetical 2016 offseason situation. Where Morey has made the necessary moves to create the space. Est. Salary cap of ~$66mil(meaning +$2mil in cap every year starting next year) in the summer of 2016 Harden 16.7 Durant 21(max) Howard 23(max player option or max extension) 9 minimum guys So obviously pointless unless there are paycuts involved. Howard may take a paycut, say, $18mil/yr for 5 yrs extension after opting out. Durant takes slightly less, $19mil/yr for 4 yrs with opt-out after 3 years. If they can take less, then the Rockets will have room for ~5 players making between $1~2mil range, meaning mid/lower 1st round picks, panned out cheap guys like Beverley/Parsons/Greg Smith. Then fill the rest with ring-chasing vets on minimums. Again, not saying this is likely or even plausible, but then again. I never dreamed the Rockets would have 2 top-10 players just 1 year ago today.
I wasn't posting that because I think he was talking about ACTUALLY loving the city lol. I just posted that since people were posting "mean" things he did.
