I agree with this. It seems like the Clippers were just making layups all night.

Douglas is not clutch he has a lower FG% than Lin does in the clutch per 48. (21% vs 50%) Unless you think Lin is clutch too?

Why even bother trying to rationalize anything to a group of people who likely spend hours fantasizing about meeting a backup NBA pg? You couldn't find a dumber group of fans if you tried

I thought TD was a good 4th quarter closer for the Rockets when he was allowed to play that role in December.

Lin has also been a good 4th quarter closer of late ... for the other team.

Why do you have to insert that into the discussion? Can you not make your point without resorting to that? Why are you so obsessed with that word? Just counter his argument...geeez.

Parsons is more clutch than Douglas LOL. His FG% in the clutch per 48 is 39% the exact same as Haren. Don't listen to Bull Douglas is not the second most clutch player to Harden. He just isn't.

The team must feel bad, but they should not get too discouraged. They'll improve in some way with each game, and I hope their coaches tell them so. Experience is the best teacher.

I thought the whole point of "Douglas be the second most clutch player" is to jab at Lin.;)

First of all, I'm assuming you have a mirror...

Secondly, I'm not an LOF, but all the posts I've read from you have something to do with Lin or LOFs... so I guess the better question would be - Why bother trying to rationalize anything to a person who spends hours fantasizing about strangers on the internet fantasizing about meeting an NBA pg?

LOL....you need to talk about the whole team if you are talking about the last 4 games. Lin was the least of the Rockets problem in the last 4 games.

Seriously, LOF and LOH should be banned as a word. It adds absolutely nothing to the conversation except incite more bickering instead of discussing basketball.

They didn't go in last night when Tony Allen was guarding him and Crawford went 5-14.

You're right. Lin was responsible for all of crawford's 30 points tonight.

First, you don't need to elevate to contest a 3 pointer unless you think you're going to block the shot. Lin isn't going to be blocking many 3 pointers. Additionally, nearly all coaches advise you stay on the ground when defending a jump shot, that way you can still react in case it's a pump fake and the offensive player can't generate contact for an And1. All you want to do is obscure sight of the basket. That doesn't actually require the hand to be right in a player's face, just their hand and arm to be in the line of sight. And 2 feet is MORE than far enough away.

Second, Crawford scored only 2 x 3 pointers in the 4th quarter when Lin was in the game. His first 5 points were when Lin was on the bench. Crawford also didn't score a single point in the 3rd quarter (when the Clippers ran up the lead).

Finally, people get crossed over all the time. Guards do that. Defend enough players, you'll get caught on a cross over. It doesn't make you a bad defender, it just means your opponent can do a cross over. Parsons, Delfino, Lin and Harden have all crossed over on defenders. They weren't all bad defenders.

Un-f*****g-believable. I am at a loss with words with how the Rockets have been playing lately. I'm actually kind of glad that I have Dish.
