[Chron] Lowry Glad to be Back in Houston, if only for a game

Stop the nonsense and the baiting. Lowry did not have a bad game. It’s not his best game but except for his shooting, he played okay and did other things to help his team. Also, he knew when to stop shooting knowing that his shot was off and he didn’t chuck like Bargnani (2-19) did in their previous game vs. Spurs.

I don't deny that there is a double standard though, because if Lin had a similar game and we lost, he absolutely had a bad game and will be bashed.

But no, this game doesn't prove anything. Small sample size. I'm just happy our offense looks great and we won.

 

And he couldn't wait to get out of here... dude move on.

This! All the way. Goodness. Both sides are annoying. People were condemning Lin off of pre-season play. PRE-SEASON! Other people are celebrating for Lin off of two regular season games & the people that were condemning him off of pre-season play yell small sample size. The hypocrisy is outstanding. Why don't we all just have some patience with the young roster. Celebrate all the players when they play well & support them positively when they struggle. This beef between LOF & LOH needs to stop.

 

There is no double standard.

If Lin adapts the way Lowry does when his shot is not falling then I'm sure everyone would be happy. Play good defense, grab rebounds, drive in and try to draw fouls or pass it out.

It's how it was the last couple of season, it's how it has always been even now.

Bottom line is tonight- Lin v. Lowry - Lin won. If you don't agree with that then you're ignoring the facts and nothing anyone says will convince you otherwise.
