That's a contingency we have no control over (it takes two teams to execute a trade), not to mention it's silly to trade a player at his lowest possible value point (see: Scola). That's why there's no trade Martin option - we control whether or not meet an offer for Lee, we do not control the perceived value of Martin, nor do we control another team's desire for his presence on their roster.
C: Resign Lee, Trade Martin, Groom Lamb to start (because Lee/Parsons is not the right combination, although both belong on the team and in the rotation)
I'd much rather "resign" Lee and ship out Martin & let Lamb come off the bench til he can prove he deserves to start... Bye Bye Martin
Lee plays great defense, should be an important piece on our team going forward. I could see the rationale for letting kmart stay on the team until the deadline to hopefully increase his trade value, but then again I'm not sure how much of an effect it would have on increasing his value versus the cost in not giving lee/lamb minutes which furthers their development, if that makes sense.
You left oft the most popular option on these forums. Not going to vote because I don't agree with either of them.
Trade K-Mart for a first rounder and expiring contract to a crappy team, tank, get two high lottery picks next draft = ??? profit
Sign and trade Courtney Lee for a player or backup who could fill a position of need. Perhaps we could acquire another tweener PF.
