Yeh, he's a great player - still one of the biggest douches the game has ever known and I am happy with anything bad that comes his way - karma's a b****!

Nothing wrong with his greatness. Weird that some are making a fuss while others are downplaying the incident.... take the middle road... it was simply a hard foul resulting in what seemed to be an injury, what is now slightly less serious. In an allstar game. Folks need to relax.
After looking at Wade crying after Battier did his shoulder good... I can't help but chuckle a bit. I hope he gets another in his other shoulder.
that was hyperextension. Kobe is tougher that is why is No.1 among shooting guards and Wade comes second. But to overall efficiency they are both around the same level, sometimes Wade's better because Kobe chucks too much.
http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/...rs-kobe-bryant-sent-mri-suffering-broken-nose Kobe Diagnosed With Concussion EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- In addition to a broken nose, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday when Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade fouled Bryant across the face. The 16-year veteran visited Dr. John Rehm, an ear, nose and throat specialist, on Tuesday morning where his nasal fracture was confirmed. Bryant was experiencing other symptoms related to the nose injury and was sent to neurologist Dr. Vern Williams, who diagnosed the concussion.
I don't like Bryant or Wade (just might if they played for the Rocks, though), just to be clear, but what a chump move by Wade. If that was a window into his soul, the view isn't pretty. It's the freakin' All Star game, goofus.
well, I guess I change my mind: this confirms it should have been a flagrant foul. "unnecessary contact" -- the rule says nothing about going for the ball. Enough force on the head to cause a concussion would be one definition of unnecessary contact. [rquoter]Section IV--Flagrant Foul a. If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul--penalty (1) will be assessed. A personal foul is charged to the offender and a team foul is charged to the team. [/rquoter]
