hah, Im just glad Miami gave it a shot, and like I said, not many teams not named Lakers Celtics etc, get to see there team in the finals and have a shot at a ring. Most teams haven't been to the finals in 10 plus years, so was great to finally see my team in the finals!
Garnett, Allen, and Pierce did what Wade, Lebron, and Bosh couldn't do their first season together by joining forces...
I must admit: It was extremely classy of Cuban to let Don Carter accept the trophy. Carter was responsible for bringing NBA basketball to Dallas. Ordinarily you won't find the words classy and Cuban in the same sentence.
Congrats to Dallas. They were unbeatable all playoffs long. Dirk is amazing and Carlisle might be the best coach in the NBA. It was a great Finals! See y'all in Nov!
I never really appreciated Dirks game because I felt he was soft. I felt he settled for jumpers too many times too often. He kinda toughened up and took it more to the rack.

I hate the Mavs and always will but at least Jason Kidd and Peja got a ring. Peja got screwed in 2000 or 2001 via the Kings and Jason Kidd lost to both the Lakers and Spurs being on the NJ Nets teams that went back to back Finals appeatences in 2002 & 2003.
Wow, you really blew up my personal post of work being hell tomorrow since I live in Dallas into something else. Whatever, ILoveDirkyPoo. Welcome to my ignore list. Just reliquinsh your screen name, come out of the closet and admit you're a Mavs fan.
You know how the losing team's championship shirt goes to poor people in foreign countries? <!-- http://twitter.com/#!/darrenrovell/status/80111838200725505 --> <style type='text/css'>.bbpBox80111838200725505 {background:url(http://a2.twimg.com/profile_background_images/7908779/CNBC_Twitter_SportsBiz.png) #000000;padding:20px;} p.bbpTweet{background:#fff;padding:10px 12px 10px 12px;margin:0;min-height:48px;color:#000;font-size:18px !important;line-height:22px;-moz-border-radius:5px;-webkit-border-radius:5px} p.bbpTweet span.metadata{display:block;width:100%;clear:both;margin-top:8px;padding-top:12px;height:40px;border-top:1px solid #fff;border-top:1px solid #e6e6e6} p.bbpTweet span.metadata span.author{line-height:19px} p.bbpTweet span.metadata span.author img{float:left;margin:0 7px 0 0px;width:38px;height:38px} p.bbpTweet a:hover{text-decoration:underline}p.bbpTweet span.timestamp{font-size:12px;display:block}</style> <div class='bbpBox80111838200725505'><p class='bbpTweet'>Miami Heat Championship gear will go to Cleveland...nah, just kidding.<span class='timestamp'><a title='Mon Jun 13 03:18:45 +0000 2011' href='http://twitter.com/#!/darrenrovell/status/80111838200725505'>less than a minute ago</a> via web <a href='http://twitter.com/intent/favorite?tweet_id=80111838200725505'><img src='http://si0.twimg.com/images/dev/cms/intents/icons/favorite.png' /> Favorite</a> <a href='http://twitter.com/intent/retweet?tweet_id=80111838200725505'><img src='http://si0.twimg.com/images/dev/cms/intents/icons/retweet.png' /> Retweet</a> <a href='http://twitter.com/intent/tweet?in_reply_to=80111838200725505'><img src='http://si0.twimg.com/images/dev/cms/intents/icons/reply.png' /> Reply</a></span><span class='metadata'><span class='author'><a href='http://twitter.com/darrenrovell'><img src='http://a0.twimg.com/profile_images/1391749430/Screen_shot_2011-06-11_at_5.19.41_PM_normal.png' /></a><strong><a href='http://twitter.com/darrenrovell'>darren rovell</a></strong><br/>darrenrovell</span></span></p></div> <!-- end of tweet --> They need to send Miami Championship jerseys to Cleveland.
It IS special in so many ways. The Mavs won vindication tonight for that 2006 debacle. I was so very happy for Dirk, Kidd and Terry because they have been hearing about 2006 for 5 years. I was especially happy for Dirk getting series MVP because he is truly a great guy and a great player. What was refreshing was to see the degree of professionalism exhibited by the entire Mavs team and organization. This has been very enjoyable to watch and I am especially happy for my neighbors and coworkers who have suffered for more than 20 years waiting for this moment.
