Rudy Gay comes through in the clutch again as he hits another game-winner with less that one second left to lift the Griz over the Raptors.

Gay is unreal in the clutch. He reminds me of a more athletic robert horry to be honest, due to the fact that Rudy, like horry, coast through a lot of the games but when the game is on the line, he hits everything. He has a lot of horry qualities in him.
That was some poor defense by Wright. DeRozan, although shorter, might have been a better option to D up Gay at the end. He's quicker than Wright and a better defender in my opinion. Rudy probably would've been able to rise up and shoot over him too, but the contest might have been better.
Nice defensive play at the end. He should be doing ALOT more of that considering how long his arms are!
22,7, 3 and inconsistent D is great for a 10M guy. For a MAX player though, its pretty poor value. I'd rather keep the no stats allstar and his expiring contract then have Rudy Gay signed to 18M a year for the next 5 years. HAHA!
Its not a matter of being cheap, the cap means you can only spend a finite amount of money on players. Even if we had Rudy Gay he wouldn't be much of a difference maker on this team, because frankly he's just not that good. If we were ones who happened to be paying Gay the max then we would have been screwed. I'd rather pay Marc Gasol the max rather than Gay.
