They have been pretty fantastic on the road. Something like 6-7 in a row. And Amare is starting to look like a real leader maybe even worth those 100 mil...
Lets at least wait until the All-Star break before we start these threads. The Knicks have gone 8-1 in their last 9 games. I don't see them keeping this pace for a full 82.
these guys are road warriors right now. in fact i expect them to play better on the road all season. However, k-money is right...they won't be able to keep this up...they don't have that kind of team...right now they're a nice looking car with potential engine problems.
They are heading to a thought part of the schedule. vs Denver vs Boston vs Miami @ Cleveland vs Oklahoma City vs Chicago @Miami @Orlando vs Indiana vs Spurs @Phoenix @LA Lakers @Portland @Utah
http://espn.go.com/nba/team/schedule/_/name/ny/new-york-knicks Only the win @ Chicago on Nov 4th and the other night against NO were against good teams. And NO was without David West. http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/powerrankings Their opponents winning % is .414 http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/nba1011.htm That ranks 26th in the NBA.
They will decline but unfortunately I see them making the playoffs, making their (our) pick worthless.
The issue here is that the eastern conference is brutal, so many bad teams. They have been ok but I doubt they keep this up since the schedule will even out, they will still make the playoffs unless they have a significant injury.
Not particularly surprised by this. Knicks were a borderline playoff team going into this season (despite what many here claim).
People are making way too much out of this draft pick swap. We also got Jordan Hill and next season's draft pick from them also. Yeah it would be unfortunate if they ended up with a better record than us, but that hardly gives us the short end of the trade.
Even if these Draft picks turn out to be Garbage we didn't even lose anything to acquire them? We gave up what has turned out to be a washed up star and got back Jordan Hill and an expiring contract (JJ), and extra draft picks. I'm not BimaThug but it looks like Carl Landry is the only thing we truly lost that day. Carl Landry = 2 draft picks, Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, Expiring contract. Seriously if you look at it that way. We are still winning in that trade no matter how low the draft picks end up being.
They've had the easiest schedule in the league by far and they're only two games above .500. They won't win 35 games this year.
And what people have to remember about Landry is that he is about to be a free agent next season. Would the Rockets have re-signed him? If they intended to re-sign him then no way they would have kept Scola.
....and they will still end up in the playoffs. Our swap option will be worthless. The 2012 pick will be low mid 1st.
