Mike Harris (non-guaranteed) Alexander Johnson (non-guaranteed) 2011 2nd rd. pick (higher of Rockets' or Clippers') Cash?
why not throw in Roy in that deal num1roxfan suggested. I would love to see rudy here. He can come off the bench and still get manu like minutes in the rotation.
I guarantee you Martin will not last long if he plays 34 minutes a game. I fully expect Martin to miss at least 20 games next season. Sorry if I'm a pessimistic, but you have to treat Martin the same way we will treat Yao. Make a plan to have a backup that can easily start just incase Martin goes down.
How is Aldridge a significant upgrade over Scola? Scola 16.2 pts 8.6 reb 16.8 PER Aldridge 17.9 pts 8.0 reb 18.2 PER
and what about those games he is playing in. rudy rides the pine? it's not like you can play both Martin and Rudy together too. they're basically both strictly 2 guards and I'm pretty sure Fernandez doesn't just wanna be Martin's back-up insurance.
He's gonna get more playing time in Houston than what he would in Portland. Roy doesn't miss as many games as Martin.
I'm down with trying to get Rudy here but I don't see it working out unless we trade Budinger, which is more than fine with me.
If we acquired Fernandez---not that I know who we'd give up---Kevin Martin would be gone in another deal. Or maybe in the same deal, albeit to a different (third) team. This is where everyone says how important Kevin Martin is now that Yao's coming back and such, which is true enough. Although I believe Martin would come in handy for a deal with a team like New Jersey (have they signed Favors yet?) I guess Morey could use Fernandez as a draw for Llull. I won't get into the Rubio speculation again. The whole Fernandez thing would seem a long shot in any case.
Rudy Fernandez Joel Przybilla for Shane Battier Jermaine Taylor Johnson/Harris(non-guaranteed) 2012 HOU 1st rd pick Get it done morey!
