Seems like a good guy, hope he gets $$$ from the Maloofs, this is one guy who probably deserves whatever comes his way. Too many athlete's come off as punks, this guy just didn't fit into that mold, nice to see that. I was hoping he would stay a Rocket, but I guess it was not meant to be, good luck to him.

Carl was the best. Very tough. Would never forget him getting shot and coming back three weeks later. Would have much rather traded Scola to Sacramento.

Exactly. Now that he's on another team, I don't have to worry about Landry playing his way to an expensive contract.

    Will he be their starter?

He's only signed until the end of next season, then, he's UFA.

Brian Cook has no value. He's about to be out of the league.

Anyhow, we/I miss you Carl! You're a great all-around person. Best of luck in Sacramento. We'll see you March 3rd.

So I guess that takes him out of the 6th man award debate?

Yep, he is not going to win it, you can take him out of that award.

Haha...damn, that is a horrible photoshop they hacked together for that jersey swap.

They should have contracted the job out to Clutch

I kinda wish they would just bring him off the bench (ala Jason Terry) just so he could win it this year.

But I am glad he is starting :) too bad they do not play 2morrow.

    Nope.

    False.

To be eligible for the award you simply have to come off the bench more than you start. Carl has already locked that up at this point in the season.

I'm going to miss him running up and down the floor with the 2nd unit, and having Lowry hit hit in stride for a vicious dunk in traffic.

Plus, how can you forget his face-up midrange jumper.

Landry's a beast. Best of luck, big guy.
