Introducing Sergio Llull

i didnt necessarily mean for this season, but it makes it easier to give up brooks and ride lowry as a starter earlier than later. And i'm guessing he can always be bough out early as well. You want him to gain experience and expand his talent overseas, but you also want to bring him in early enough for him to develop an NBA rather than having him come too late and too settled into the euro game.

is it too early to start giving then a nickname? (probably considering we don't even own the rights to one of them) if not, I vote for The Spanish Armada.

 

He looks great in that video and it's really interesting to hear Hinkie walk you through what you're seeing. Also, gotta love the footage of him harassing Deron Williams.

Didn't the Spanish Armada get punked big time? I'm not sure that's such a good nickname.

This is the "top 5 dunks" this year (Euro version?). Llull is the first one (#5) and goes the length of the court for the slam.

I think this guy has star potential. Thinking about him playing with Chase, for example, is pretty exciting. He's perfect for Coach A's system, IMO.

 

I was pleased with the pick. I think he can be another backup PG for us.

 

I think he could be a starter if he's given a good shot at it here. Not right away, obviously, but in time. The guy has serious skills.

 

Francis 6'3, 43 inch vert.......considered one of the most explosive points to ever play the game...

i'm not sold on llull just yet. he is talented and skilled with decent size. but his head is what i worry about. not unlike ronron, he sometimes takes really stupid shots and falls victim to mind games by the man he's guarding.

 

Physically gifted, not just superb at shooting.

Granted, he has speed, but usually, smaller people have better speed than taller people. Usually.
