I hate to pile up on you when you are already getting beat from so many directions, but there were several terror attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11 involving mailing hazardous substances to federal buildings. You are correct that Clinton didn't do enough to get OBL. Sadly Bush did even less and the attacks were carried out under his watch. Still you haven't made up your mind. Is Obama too tough on terror and he's going to invade Pakistan so we should all be scared, or is it that he's going to just lob missiles? Please don't respond with incorrect information about who is trusted on natl. security by the population, since that has been blown out of the water.
Al Qaeda terror attacks of any kind of scale in the US since 9/11: ZERO. You try to nitpick silly details, yet again... It's hilarious that I can refute every single one of you libpigs' silly accusations and claims. 5 libpigs, just me reponding. Childsplay. You dullards are a treat Agreed
Yet still haven't picked which one of your duplicitous statements you are going to stick with regarding OBL. I'm waiting... TIA brah.
Ok guys time to ignore Texx untill he posts something with logic, reason, and substance. This was a really good thread until he trolled and baited us all into responding to him. I wish his post count still said 6,666.
or bush saying "nobody could have imagined planes flying into buildings" when the government had wargamed just that. or bush ignoring the august 6, 2001 pdb which stated "bin laden determined to strike in u.s.". or kinda like your precious bush, who directly helped facilitate the attacks w/ things like the visa express program, which was introduced in may 2001 and allowed saudi nationals to get a passport through their travel agent rather than the us consulate. several of the hijackers ended up taking advantage of this program.
hum.... McCain Adviser Won't Fight Obama ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports: On Wednesday, a top adviser to John McCain said more definitively than he has in the past that he will step down from the Arizona senator's presidential campaign if the presumed GOP nominee faces Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in the general election. "I would simply be uncomfortable being in a campaign that would be inevitably attacking Barack Obama," said McCain adviser Mark McKinnon in an interview with NPR's "All Things Considered." "I think it would be uncomfortable for me, and I think it would be bad for the McCain campaign." McKinnon, who was a Democrat before serving as President Bush's ad maker in 2000 and 2004, said that he plans to be behind McCain "100 percent" no matter who the Democratic nominee is. He explained, however, that if the Democrats nominate Obama, he will be supporting McCain "from the sidelines." While saying that he does not agree with Obama on every issue, McKinnon gushed about the Illinois Democrat. "I met Barack Obama, I read his book, I like him a great deal," said McKinnon. "I disagree with him on very fundamental issues. But I think, as I said, I think it would a great race for the country." http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/02/mccain-adviser.html
Yeah, I think it's only fair that he get a free pass for the first 3,000 American lives lost. Maybe we better make it closer to 10,000 so he can be covered for Iraq, too. Sorry to all for feeding the troll.
Hmm. This is going to be an interesting general election. I just hope Huckabee doesn't end up anywhere near the chain of command.
A Rasmussen national poll has Obama up 49-37 over Hillary. I don't buy it. I think he's ahead but not by double-digits. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...ial_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
The complete McCain statement on Social Security and health care for seniors from his website: Obama on the same topics: McCain on Education: Obama on education: McCain on The economy, er, Tax Cuts: Obama on the Economy: To be fair, McCain has a lot of verbiage under "Human Dignity" and "Second Amendment." Both he and Obama have a fair amount of discussion on Veteran's issues and Iraq. Overall, if you look at their web sites, there's no doubt that Obama has the greater degree of specificity on the greater number of issues.
Thanks for the post rimmy. Dear lord McCain's "tax cuts this, tax cuts that" section is not helping his reputation as an economic dunce.
solid pick up! this move will certainly help mccain w/ the black vote! <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EXGMi7a53jA&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EXGMi7a53jA&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
I don't think anyone (including the media) is going to talk about the McCain campaign for another few months while the Dem thing gets resolved. He's in a media blackout, basically. That may be a good thing for him if the Dems drag each other down; or alternatively, it's an opportunity for more and more people to be exposed to the Dems while the GOP candidate is basically nowhere to be seen.
Just to let you know, the Louisiana Republican Convention tomorrow is getting really interesting. The Ron Paul campaign is claiming a dozen or so state delegates that the state GOP won't give them. (I'll go into details later.) There's even talk of a "rump convention". I'll be there tomorrow, so I'll give a blow-by-blow.
