In order for the rockers to attain a easy win, the team needs to speed up the game more then ever and by doing this; the youth of the rockets will exploit the spurs weakness, oldness. I predict a win 112-94 with harden and Lin combining for 60.
A prediction is coming into mind: Houston Rockets 108, San Antonio Spurs 104... Will be a CLOSELY HEATED battle between the two teams til 5:00 left in 4Q. My prediction on the other stats: FG%: HOU - 46%, SA - 49% 3PTM/A: HOU - 12/25 -- (48%), SA - 9/19 -- (47%) FT: HOU - 15/20 -- (75%), SA - 19/24 -- (79%) REB: HOU - 55, SA - 49 AST: HOU - 34, SA - 34 STL: HOU - 11, SA - 9 BLK: HOU - 8, SA - 11 TO: HOU - 17, SA - 13 Fouls: HOU - 25, SA - 21 TOP SCORER(S): James Harden 27 pts, 6 reb, 7 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk, 3 TO, 3 Fouls Jeremy Lin: 14 pts, 3 reb, 8 ast, 2 stl, 0 blk, 4 TO, 4 Fouls Omer Asik: 10 pts, 16 reb, 2 ast, 0 stl, 1 blk, 2 TO, 3 Fouls C. This is the last game of the season against the Spurs (unless we see them in the playoffs), and they've swept the series so far against us. Our team needs this one win against them for the growth of the team.
This game has a bit of unpredictability. Home court and the team has grown leaps and bounds over the last time we played the Spurs. The Spurs have already locked in a play off spot, so will they have the same killer focus? Are the Rockets the team that the Spurs *want* to face in the 1st round vs the Lakers, GSW or Jazz? Would they want to see us move up towards 6 vs stay in 7/8? It's about this time of year that the basketball season gets a bit wonky...
I hope these stats are true! Seems like a typical non-blowout Rox game! Hoping we edge out the Spurs down the stretch. Doubt we'll blow them out though, the Spurs are where they are for a reason.
