I would have to say Parsons. Patterson, Smith and Morris are the only other ones i've been able to actually watch (as Rockets) with the exception of Christmas Day. Of that group Parsons by far. I hear the bearded one looks even better in Rockets gear than he did in OKC though
I am a Lin fan . I am not rocket fan sorry to say that ! bcos of Jeremy Lin, I wacht rocket game , last year knicks game .
I voted for Asik just to give him a little more love. He's easily the second most important player on the team behind Harden. I always feel confident we can win the frontcourt matchup due to his rebounding and defense, even against some of the best big men in the game. That should not be underestimated. My #1 favorite is probably Harden though. I think if you made a poll just between Lin and Harden these results would look a lot different, about 50/50. The difference is, the Lin votes come mostly from a horde of LoFs while the votes which could go to Harden are being split up between a bunch of different players.
Jeremy Lin. He's the reason why I got myself back into playing basketball and to actually follow the NBA. But by watching the games so far this season, I've grown to like the team as a whole. Hell, I didn't know a single thing about the Rockets. I didn't even follow the NBA.
Jeremy Lin motivated me to go back to the basketball court to practice my reverse layups. Also to work on losing some flanks so that I can be faster. True story! But I can't deny that Harden made me try the Euro step too.
Cole Aldrich. I was a fan once he airballed that shot after regulation. It was going to be JORTS, but he got let go before the season began.
Just came in to vote and check the results so far. It's no wonder I avoid the GARM as often as possible.
It is possible to like Lin AND actually be a Rocket fan. Given people's tendencies to root for tye underdog - are you really that surprised about the results?
