Here's a stat nobody would have ever predicted. I know, I know its only 13 games but I would never believe at any point of the season and ya'll wouldn't either that every starter on the Rockets would avg 10 points or more so far w/ our sixth man avg 9.3 pts. James Harden 25.2 ppg Chandler Parsons 15.5 ppg Patrick Patterson 12.5 ppg Jeremy Lin 10.2 ppg Omer Asik 10.2 ppg Starters are accounting for 72 points per game = AMAZING!!!! Stats via http://content.usatoday.com/sportsdata/basketball/nba/rockets/stats Also NBA overall Rankings via ESPN 101.3 ppg = 5th in NBA 45.9 rpg = 4th in NBA 21.5 apg = 13th in NBA The only detriment on this team is Points Allowed (100.2 = 26th in NBA) Overall Rankings Via ESPN http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/hou/houston-rockets We should have been 9-4, cause we should have beaten Heat and both games against Blazers but you know what those games were learning tools for the same reason we came back to beat the Bulls and steam rolling Knicks last night.
we dont need no PF nor other star player( many teams have that and they stink!)...we already have a championship team....just keep building chemistry and gather playing time together.... p.s. good thread
whoa whoa whoa... Championship team? Errrrrr... ...Maybe, give them some years to develop. But for now: -Learn to play defense, -draw a lot more offensive plays, do it right.... and............ yeah, we got a pretty good team that might go to 2nd round playoffs.
Well for the highly optimistic fans and after a good win, yeah, with Harden being the best SG, Lin doing Lin V2.0, Parsons defying odds and be an all star, Jones turn into Robert Horry, Asik getting DPOY and morris being the 6th man of the year. Then we might have a chance.
I did not want my thread to turn out like this but its what you get with clutchfans....i thought this would be a celebratory thread to give props to this team early in the season but the person who posted after me just spoke their mind... but what team in recent history has had its starting five at one time to all average ten points or more through any part of a season....Only the 2003-04 Detroit Pistons all had its starters average double figures in points...GET BEHIND THIS TEAM!!! Not saying we gonna win the Finals not saying we gonna make the the playoffs but we have the cast to do it...with Morris, Delfino, Douglas off the bench with some sleepers like Jones and Cook. We just need to step up our defense big time
Well, in the grand scheme of CF threads, yours is certainly not in the bottom half. At least it contains some interesting stats. Don't feel bad. The "Jeramey Lin Sucks!" thread got over 700 comments.
preciate that I think everybody was lashing out on the guy who posted in the #2 spot  but I thank him for telling me good post
That is really interesting and I wouldn't have expected it either. I'm really surprised with the offensive strides that both Asik and Parsons have made. Can you imagine if Lin was living up to expectations on offense? This squad would be really tough. I still have hope for Lin too. His shot will eventually come around.
