Landry and Scola are possible floppers. Hayes can be a flopper since he takes so many charges. Brooks should learn how to....With that speed he should be able to draw a lot of charges.
Lost a little respect for Bron today, kept trying to score when they game was over. Luckily he lost the ball out of bounds. Plus, he is too good of a player to resort to flopping.
So much for the NBA punishing players for flopping. I have yet to see any evidence of them doing anything to eliminate flopping.
Mandry can never be a flopper cuz he's tough. Hayes is too buff to be a flopper. That's like asking Ron artest to flop. Brooks is too skinny. There's not enough meat to draw the contact.
Indeed some teams have much higher FA/M% (Flop Attempt/Made %) than the Rox but I don't think its proper to improve the team's winning opportunity by following this trend. There's nothing to be proud of if games were won through successful flopping.
I saw one too many flops today. Ben Wallace was beyond pathetic, so much for being "Big Ben", flopping his way to defend Yao Ming. A disgrace he earned 4 DPOY, Mutombo at his age won't even attempt to flop. As for that Vagiro, just pathetic. If cheating is the only way to win, then NBA needs some serious reconsideration of how the game is played. NBA needs to hire a set of people to review every single game. At least on every single call by the referee. Referee in the NBA lacks discipline, they make inconsistent call to both parties, it's not even fair. It only takes THREE bad calls to change the game, THREE bad calls on Yao will take him out the game for THREE entire quarters. The NBA don't even need to discipline refs for bad calls if the flop was so bad, like today's game, the least the NBA could do is fine Vagiro or Wallace. They don't need to make big decisions, just find the flop and fine the person who did it. Right now, floppers that refs catch aren't even called for fouls. It just becomes a no call. Is Stern even making an effort to change this? At least allow the Refs to call for a flopping foul.
They said they going to fine flopper but it was just a lie to try to clean their image. But can they fine Kobe, Lebron or Pierce every time? No they are more interested to make money from Superstars and flopping will make them better. This is not new on the old Rome many of the Gladiator fights were fixed to make the most popular guy always win. That's why WWE is so popular, ppl want starts not reality and the NBA is entertainment just like WWE. Flopping is one more tool that player can use to be good, the problem is getting out of control, just like steroid did to help baseball, flopping have help create stars but can damage the image of the NBA for the long term. Stern jobs is to make owner make money and if flopping help Lebron or Kobe be better and sell more, then he will look the other way.

it's public knowledge that nellie took time in team practice to train his guys how to flop when he coached the mavs. dirk must've been an a++ student. so it's nothing new. don't know if nellie is still doing this in gsw, or if there're other teams doing it.
Can we compete against this? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3TaRdBpxfrw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3TaRdBpxfrw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Yeah I did notice LeBron made some improvements his flop game. Right after Ron got him with a flop, we went to Artest in the post, and our guard (Rafer or Aaron? can't remember) went to set a pick on LeBron, and I noticed LeBron initiate the "Oh No! I just got uppercut by Mike Tyson!" classic flop move like two times in a row. Thank John Frum the refs didn't buy it though. I guess Sideshow is rubbing off on him.
Scola flops. Shane flops but not as much as Scola. Meanwhile, Artest floops. I think he just does it to be different from the other two.
Adelman needs to sign Vlade Divac to a 10 day contract specifically to play the Cavs. Put him on Varejao and let the hilarity ensue.
ron occasionally flops - only against certain players. scola sometimes does - less this year. shane doesn't - taking a legit charge is not a flop. it makes a huge difference if someone ALWAYS flops.
