Where did all the Christian Wood fans go?

 

Crazy that the dude has so much talent but failed to apply it. Even if he is lazy AF can't imagine how he couldn't have a long and stable career with his shooting and scoring ability as a big man.

 

If you have Austin Reeves and Hachimura, who needs Christian Wood.....

 

They need someone to set screen for LeBron.

 

So did he finally realize that there isn't a FA market of more than 3M for him? It's kind of sad that an athletic big man who can shoot from outside can't get more than that. He has only himself to blame.

 

While true, he's about to get $3M to sit on the bench for 82 games and live in LA. I think from that perspective he is living the good life.

 

Crazy that Wood has made over 50 million dollars in his career.

 

So, he gone from thinking he is a max guy with the Rockets to a guy who doesnt think ge can get more than $3M since being with the Lakers?

 

"Sad" is of course relative to NBA standard. A guy with his talent should be in great demand and could easily make 20M a year.

Of course, with his work ethic, he might even prefer to sit on the bench for 3M than work hard for 20M.
