Ramon Walker is back with the team. working to get back in the rotation Tulane is playing well and probably looking to make a statement tonight. sold out game in New Orleans.
I had the volume down as low as it would go as he was definitely hoping Tulane would beat us. ESPN+ sucks but it is better than nothing. First part of the game video for me anyway was terrible. In regards to the game, have to admit when Tulane cut our lead from 16 down to 5, I was a bit worried. We were missing shots and turning the ball over. Great timeout by Sampson. Afterwards, we went on a run of our own built the lead back up and then some. When we shoot like we did tonight we are going to be hard to beat. Sasser really looked great when it looked like they were closing in on us.
It was a lot more competitive than the final score would suggest for sure Nice to see Sasser starting to come alive after a slow start of the season
Went to the game this evening. Sometimes shots in warm ups don't always translate into games, but Sasser was hitting everything in warm ups-straight on 3’s, step back 3’s, side step 3’s. I mean he might have missed 1 or 2 shots. I’ve watched warm up in almost every home game, and have never seen him shoot that good. I was thinking he was going to have a good game. Tonight, it did translate. Their crowd was very loud especially for 4,000 capacity. There was probably 50-60 UH fans. Sasser made so many clutch shots to stop their momentum, and quiet the crowd. I heard a Tulane fan after the game saying Sasser killed them and deserved his All-American status. The whole experience was quite enjoyable.
NO. The "Houston you have a problem" **** is so done and worthless, and anyone who says it can kiss my ass.
