This leaves Hakeem in the top 15 at minimum... I am betting he ends up at #7 behind Jordan, Lebron, Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Shaq (ugh) https://theathletic.com/3092942/202...ame-the-leagues-no-2-all-time-leading-scorer/ “Him and Stock not winning a championship, that was tough,” McKown said. “Timing’s shitty. You’re going to be at your best when the Bulls are at their best? That’s bad timing.” Malone was, and remains, a controversial figure with profound flaws. After Magic Johnson tested positive for HIV in 1991, Malone was one of the most outspoken critics of Johnson returning to the NBA. When Malone was 20, he fathered a son with a 13-year-old girl from his hometown, Malone and the son, former NFL player Demetress Bell, were estranged for years, though it appears they have reconciled. Years later, while playing for the Lakers, Malone was accused of harassing Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, following a game at the Staples Center. Didn't Otis and Dream stop Utah as well...?
no major publication has the balls to correctly put hakeem ahead of bird. yeah they were together for 18 years and were famously durable and so, unlike say a durant and westbrook, can't blame injuries, and they got stopped all 18 years, not just the 2 years they faced jordan.
Hakeem can be argued as the goat imo. Yes Jordan was better overall offensively, but Hakeem is the best defensive player EVER. He guarded every position and leads the nba in blocks
Hakeem usually ends up around 9 through 12. Should be around 4 through 7 depending on criteria, like best versus greatest, peak versus career, etc. What is special about this list?
I wonder how many Jazz fans hate Malone and wish nothing but the worst for him because he never won a championship.
Will never forget Mike and Mike saying Hakeem wasn't one of the great of the greats Mike and Mike?? Yeah, must have fell upon ESPN Radio mistakenly at the wrong time
