OK, my sample size is too small then…in those a couple of Charlotte games I watched, rozier almost no impact and invisible.
we need Gordon replacement, his legs will affect our playoff, we need to sign a good guard able to shoot over 10 plus points
yes they could have claimed him on waivers. I think it’s 48 hours once waived. Though, what was his salary? They could wait and try to get it lower depending on how many games played.
Seems to me that MKG would THRIVE in a "switch" defensive system that the Rockets run because of his strength. Sure he has shooting limitations, but all of these buyout guys have limitations. MKG could give the Rockets a guy to throw on LeBron or Kawhi. Because as it stands now McLemore would be pulverized.
I would have to check again but I believe he is a good corner 3 point shooter on open looks. While nothing is guaranteed, it is possible MKG would flourish in Houston.
Speaking of over seas guys, one guy I would consider is 6'10" 245lbs C Ekpe Udoh. Currently playing for the Beijing Ducks. Last played for Utah. His numbers for the Ducks: 18.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game. He seems like a good switchable center to me.
Ekpe Udoh - 7'5 wingspan 34" max vert 32 yrs Biz Biyombo - 7'7 wingspan 40" max vert 28 yrs Ekpe is decent fallback plan. Never started or produced like Biz-smack. And is 4 yrs older.
Bobby Portis won’t quit on Knicks to join title contender “I’m 24 years old,” Portis said in Detroit. “I’m not doing a buyout. I’ll make as much money as I can for my family. (I’m) 24. Not even thinking about a buyout at 24. I’ll probably set a record as first guy to do a buyout at 24. It’s just not even in the equation.” “I’m 24 years old,” he repeated. “I need as much a money as I can for my family, my mom, my brothers. I haven’t even thought about it. I don’t know who came up with that. People think I’m older than I am. I’m still a young player as well.” “I don’t like giving up on things,” Portis said. “I’m from the South. When you start something, you finish it. That’s my slogan my whole life. Through ups and downs, you ride through it. You can’t give up on something you signed up for. I’m up for the test.”
Harkless could still be bought out but he loves NY. Move on to next target and hope Harkless realizes how putrid the Knicks organization truly is after another day or two. Morey needs to focus on MKG, Bolden, Bismack and Dragan for now.
You and Knicks deserve each other. Punch one of your teammates in the face again, maybe Harkless will see that and push for buyout.
The motor is the biggest difference between the two but if Cam was used in a very structured way he has the potential to be an X factor, IMO. Cam is superior to Fraied in most ways but seems to get lost in the flow of the game.
Or clean up the end of the bench and get all 4. The next coach needs a chance to win with a balanced team. The end of the bench doesn’t matter to MDA anyway. We have limited picks this may be the best chance at a talent grab till next year’s buy outs.
