I believe Mahomes is infinitely more talented than Watson. Look at Mahomes as a leader after they got down 24-0 vs what Watson did when things started going south in the second qtr.
Do you understand majority of the big plays are off script ..... that isn’t even coaching it’s all Deshaun Man you don’t know football you can look at a scheme and then compare it and see how terrible ours is
Most of the football minds in the media even think this scheme and O’Brien is a joke and detriment like I don’t know how you can sit here and say that the defecto GM coach scheme isn’t the problem hell the pats didn’t even win when O’Brien was there he couldn’t even win with Tom freakin Brady and that’s like the only time he has had a good offense LOL
Was the Stills play off script? Fells play" But I agree with you and there are generally 2 reasons for the offscript plays, 1. He misses a blitz and gets lucky like against the Bills. 2. He holds onto the ball too long causing an offscript plays.
He didn't miss the blitz. He identified it presnap. Do your research and spend less time hating on Deshaun.
you’re right. He’s never led a team to success!!! And he absolutely has never led a team back from a big hole in an important game. /sarcasm /rolleyes
CB Byron Jones should be a target for us. Cowboys have to resign quite a few players including Dak and Coop so they COULD (not saying they will) let Byron Jones go.
You are a idiot and Watson hater... Bills game he called the blitz changed the play .. the OL missed blocks... several people has broken this play down .. it’s not his fault when he makes adjustments and the OL misses a block He holds the ball because we have no slot receiver ...and OB doesn’t use RBs out the backfield ..so he has no quick developing routes on some plays (before doghouse - Coutee was slot and him and DW had a great connection)
We’re looking at Andrew Luck 2.0 if the Texans aren’t careful. But then again, O’Brien is a hack and the McNairs are p*****s
Just because I think Watson is overrated and cant win a championship doesn't mean I hate him. These are two different discussions. The rest of your post is nothing more than excuses. Are you blaming everything under the sun for Watson's crappy play over the last month? 51-7 says more about Watson's leadership than anything else. Meanwhile as an example I ask you to compare and contrast Mahomes leadership when things went bad vs Watson's.
If you say so, He's missed the blitz the entire year for the most part. It's one reason I've said he's regressed. You can make all of the excuses you want but he's regressed. 51-7
It does not look promising. Thanks to Buttchin, the Texans have only one draft pick out of the top 150 picks this year (their 2nd rounder). Their first and both thirds were traded away. With this asshat acting as GM, I really don't expect much but we shall see. One of the best things I heard was from Sportradio 610 where one of the radio hosts was venting about how Texans fans have resigned themselves to the team's continuing mediocrity and lack of success. He stated that they should record that hour of programming and save it because we/they will be saying the exact same things about BoB and this team come next year.
51-7 says everything about the Texans in the playoffs under O'brien. His offenses/teams routinely collapse for at least three quarters of games, it happened in 2015 against the Chiefs (30-0), it happened last year against the Colts where we didn't score until garbage time in the 4th qrt. It was about to happen against Buffalo until Deshaun put the team on his back and willed them to victory, and it happened against the chiefs after the 1st qrt. If you want to see Watson's value to this offense, just look back at Deshaun's rookie year and see where our offense ranked through the first 8 games and then see where O'brien's fabulous offense ranked in his absence.
Contrast Reid's system/coaching vs Obrien's. One's offense actually utilizes screens and slot receivers effectively, can block a 4 man rush, and can actually make a QB better after spending 3 years with them as opposed to worse.
I'm talking about leadership skills We're talking about two completely different things and if you cant see that BOB/Watson both had large hands in that collapse then we cant have an honest discussion.
