If he doesn't shoot 43% from FT line, we win. If he doesn't take any 3's and just passes the ball to teammates instead of shooting 1-7 from 3, we win. If he doesn't have 1/1 assist to turnover ratio with 6 turnovers, we win. If he doesn't blow 2 open layups, we win. If he doesn't rack up 6 fouls putting us in the bonus with 9 mins to go in the 4th, we win. He's shooting 21% from 3 on the year, he is Westbrick. He blows open layups, he is Westbrick, he makes poor IQ plays like fouling too often, like turning it over like crazy, like taking away shots from Harden with the game on the line to shoot uber low % shots, he is Westbrick. Should have kept CP3, this would have been our year with him. #HeIsWestBrick #TeamCP3.
Holy ****. The more I watch the more I realize Jamychal Green was in NO MANS land. Westbrook could’ve EASILY forced the corner rotation and gotten at worst a Tucker 3, and EASILY could’ve gotten a Capela lob dunk as well. The Clippers were out of sync and rotating at different speeds and with different intentions. Basketball 101. I made a post about letting WB attack 4v3s early tonight, and he can’t even do that when it counts.
I love the addition of WB.. We needed that fire again.. He has it!.. Keep this same energy when we make the Finals..
but he makes up for it by not even attempting to get back on defense 3 or 4 times a game. he's exactly what i thought he would be, but somehow even worse at shooting. he just can't not make the same mistakes he's been making for 10 years. and they gave this guy an mvp.
he looks like Anthony miss a lot of shot. why still let him shoot the important shoot? his 3points are terrible
All he needed to do was drive to the basket on that last play while being guarded one on one. He had been doing it with good results earlier. But this is classic WB. He gets caught in the moment and his basketball IQ fails him at times like these.
I really liked his energy and the aggressiveness down the stretch. He brought out the best of the team on the offensive boards and that’s really good to see. I haven’t seen CC rebounding like that in a long time. For whatever reason I felt fortunate seeing him in our lineup in the final minutes. Knowing this is the guy that will do whatever it takes to get the ball/possession and take the big shots with 0 hesitation. That’s something special. Go Russ!
