It's a best of 3, and the Vipers just tied the series up at 1-1 vs. Long Island (in part thanks to Isaiah Hartenstein going 8-of-9 from 3 and 10-of-14 overall, while putting up 33 pts/13 rebs). Final and deciding game is on Friday, April 12, 7pm (Central) on ESPNU. Go Vipers!
He is the unicorn. The One Corn that shall deliver us a championship. Harden paved the road for Hartenstein carry us there. Quickly -- we must come up with multiple restrictive statistics that prove his greatness!
Man, IH can really shoot consistent 3's now!? If he was stronger on the boards he would have probably taken Nene's place already.
I like his shot and how quick a release he has, but whether it translates to the NBA, who knows. You would think an open 3 would translate to the NBA, but for whatever reason, it often doesn't. Hartenstein has no explosiveness on the inside. It's like he's weighed down by concrete blocks. He also looks like works on his pecs.... and that's it. lol.
If it were the Rockets, this 31 point lead would not be safe but it's the Vipers and ... this one is probably in the bag.
These leads swing all over the place in the G-League, but I'm hoping it's ok here. This is an example of why the Rockets are successful, and probably what they aim for - hit 3's at a great rate and high volume while defending the 3 well. That'll pretty much blow out most teams.
Gary Clark telling these cats to calm the hell down with RGV up one billion in the 4th quarter.. No clock management in the G-League
RGV is trying to lose this huge lead and luckily, they're failing. Their D is crap for the most part, and their passing is suspect. I have no idea how they're up 25 still.
Congrats to RGV. Hope we get to see more Hartenstein next year with the Rockets. Like the way he hit all those 3's and grabbed rebounds both which we need more of. Him and Capella would definitely give us 2 different styles of play at the center position.
