Watch Pop swing a trade to get what he wants for the rebuild while Leonard ends up in CLE.... I have no idea what could make that happen but I just figure there is always something that will ruin our plans...
Boston would unload the treasure chest and give everything hey have been building and saving for Anthony Davis. Jaylen or Tatum, Lakers 1st, multiple other 1sts
I highly doubt they trade him, but if it got to that point... you could put Kawhi on a number of .500-ish teams in the East or West and he could drastically change their outlook.
Dang, who would play the 4 would be my question (Maybe Morris?) and how would they shuffle the starting 5 so Hayward and Leonard both start? Maybe one plays the 2 (Kawhi) and the other plays the 3 (Gordon). I honestly don't think that Boston would do that since they're still waiting on Hayward to return and figure out how he's going to be integrated to the lineup. If AD becomes available no doubt it's a no brainer, this trade, not so much.
Either Brown AND Tatum plus either the Laker 1st or the Grizzlies 1st, or One of Brown or Tatum with both of the Lakers' and Grizzlies' 1st rounders. Leonard is still a top 5 player when healthy. That Flutz trade is looking worse and worse for philly tho, they could have controlled this Laker pick, may have gotten fultz anyways thanks to reports that the celtics were going to draft Tatum anyway, as well as the Kings 2019 first round pick.
We should have just taken him with the 14th pick instead of Marcus Morris. I still don't get it. I was yelling at the TV when it happened because Leonard was supposed to be like the #5 or 6 player on the board and he somehow slipped that far.
Nobody knew that he would turn from a 25% 3pt shooter in college to a 40% NBA 3pt shooter. Looked a lot more like MKG than Scottie. Leonard spent the entire lockout trying to reconstruct his jumpsuit. This is why you should always draft someone for one superior NBA level skill/attribute and hope for the best when it comes to picks outside of the top 3 to top 8 depending on the year.
