Can anybody else help but be excited about the fact that we're about to finally roll out our true 9 man rotation?! Beating GS without Ariza and Green was great and all but I couldn't help but wonder how the game would have went if they would have played. How do you guys predict this line up will look together? Is Green Tucker or Nene the "9th man"?
Lol well Nene doesn't play back to back and Green will get a shot at playing time every night as long as he's producing.
I don't think Green gets many playoff minutes unless the Rockets are in an offensive funk. He's still lost too much of the time on defense...maybe that improves throughout the season.
I think we need to go 10 deep. I'll be so proud of dantoni if we can do that at least for the regular season. If we are healthy ofcourse
Well I'd say we have a solid 10 man rotation... unfortunately MDA is just gonna run 6 or 7 guys into the ground...
Should also keep Harden on minute count for as long as possible, same with Ariza. Need their legs fresh for playoffs. If Luc out again, Green should get his minutes instead of overloading Beard or 3za.
For the regular season, we have 11 guys that can get minutes on any given night. Starters CP3 Harden Ariza Ryno Capela 2nd Unit Ego Moute Tucker Nene (every other night) End of bench Green Tarik Black (situational when Nene out)
Nene doesn’t play back to back and even then his mins will be restricted. Green will be the end of the Rotation guy with varing mins every game. He will play though.
I was thinking about this last night and I went to sleep hoping and wishing that MDA goes into the playoffs with a bigger rotation and not that BS he pulled last season. We clearly have a deeper bench than we did last year so there shouldn’t be any excuses as to why MDA only plays 7-8 guys. Our rotation should be 10 deep no matter if MDA says that he can’t go into the PO that deep bc we are just that deep.... Starters: Chris Paul James Harden Trevor Ariza Ryan Anderson Clint Capela 10th man: Eric Gordon PJ Tucker Luc Richard Mbah a Moute Gerald Green Nene
