i'm not even bothered by ryno's performance b/c i'm come to expect it. i'm at peace with him. #zenlike
Haha. Nothing new here. Anderson would need to average 18 points for him to balance all the trash he does on the defensive side / rebounding etc. Ryan Anderson is basically useless if he doesn’t score a decent amount. Ariza is also very overrated on this board. He will have a decent game once every 6-7 games. 2 guys on starting lineup nobody pays attention to on offense. Might even be able to add Clint if he’s not dunking alley oops.
This could easily be fixed. Tucker or LRMM in place of Ariza in the starting lineup is an obvious move.
Anderson being on the court naturally benefits the guards and Capela. His individual play obviously needs to improve, but he provides value regardless. Ariza? He's the main issue amongst the starters right now. Overrated defense and a zero offensively. Him nearly leading the team in minutes is hilarious right now.
Let’s just discuss how no one can hit a 3 to save their lives besides EG it seems. Rockets are last in % right now.
hmm lets see, 5pts 2-7fgs 1-4threes...LOOKS FANTASTIC! and he only costs 80 million dollars? MONEY WELL SPENT!
UHG it isn't that Ryan Sucks or Ariza Sucks or Capella Sucks.. they are just not stars. We still need another star and after tonight's game, it should be a red flag. If we do not figure out how to get that other piece real soon we are going to look like the Atlanta Hawks of last season. Our front court needs an upgrade and it is apparent. It has been all summer and the playoffs last year. Mf'n LMA gave us fits
Well according to some posters here Andersons works his ass off every single play. Also he doesn't even need to shoot because his mere presence opens the lane for everybody else and draws all 5 defenders to the half court line. Why are you blaming Anderson? Dude is our best player and the best contract in the NBA! Clearly we lost because all the other players couldn't capitalize on all the opportunities Ryan "Space" Anderson gave them.
Because he is a two way player and actually defends. Anderson is a shooter who is a liability on everything else. So when both can't shoot who do you think is worse? There is a reason Ariza plays more mins than Anderson.
How can you get that other piece when Anderson is making star money (just 5M less from a max contract)? Anderson is clearly our Kevin Cato, Morey's worst signing in his 10 years as GM.
