Kyle Serrano is on the fence because he feels as though he has unfinished business at Tennessee. Josh Ward is a host on WNML, the flagship station of University of Tennessee athletics. Chris Basnett covers Nebraska sports for the Lincoln Journal Star.
A tweet from Jayne Hansen (WTHB) indicated that Cole Watts had tweeted something about not signing (he deleted it before I saw what it was).
Elias says Serrano will pitch in the Cape this summer, and they had a pre-draft agreement to do so. If that happens, he's got a lot of bonus riding on those few games. Mathis could never, ever stay healthy at UT. I saw a bunch of him off and on, he's quite good when he's capable. Really good.
Local boy Corbin Martin doesn't sound like he'll be a tough sign. "I was more excited to be drafted by the Astros than where I was picked." Good article about him in the Chron.
LHP Trey Cumbie (38) returning to UH Probably good for him since he was a draft-eligible sophomore. Jonathan Lacroix (12) may have signed. Translation: "It's a dream come true"
