Casspi is probably the only available player that MDA would "trust" in his tight rotation. He could get backup Ariza/Anderson minutes. If Dekker is shooting poorly, Casspi is an option. And if Anderson is hurting, then you can start Casspi or Dekker at the 4. Casspi is a really good rotation fit on this team. Great match.
He would be a handy add. Morey will probably try get him for next year on a non-guaranteed deal (if he goes for him)
pretty much agree based on what's currently available. I said in the other casspi thread i wouldn't want him, mainly based off the original time table where he'd be out pretty much the rest of the season, so going into the playoffs wouldn't be very ideal with him. but if he gets a good amount of games before then under his belt in the rotation apparently off this better time table, that's not too bad for an end of bench/emergency guy. On paper he fits. The rockets could do much worse
With Dekker's shot breaking, Casspi could seriously steal rotation minutes. He is a perfect fit for the system, not to mention a personal favorite. I really hope they make this happen.
He is in Europe. He looked really slow in Olympics last year. Just doesn't have the foot speed anymore.
He's the best player on the market. Fits team philosophy perfectly. Plays a position of need and fills a void. I think we get him. Troy Williams on a 10 day contract regains d-league rights I believe and expires just about the same time Casspi is almost ready to come back and start practicing.
He signed with a team in Argentina a week or so ago. http://www.sportando.com/en/world/america/228038/boca-juniors-signs-carlos-delfino.html
