Yeah, I picked up on that. But didn't know how truly favorable it was, though, until Bima pointed out that the obligation converts to a 2nd rounder, if they get worse enough. I just assumed it deferred to next year.
New Orleans now has some reasonably priced spared bigs. One former Rocket did quite well for us: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/asikom01.html
Awesome, thanks! The one thing that I think is confusing here: If the Pels pick that the Kings now own ends up not being a top 10 pick, do the Kings owe that pick to any of Chicago or Philly? Or are the obligations to Chicago/Philly specific to the Kings own draft pick?
I don't know that Boogie makes us better - what if he goes Dwight and demands post-touches and that the ball go through him? NOP had nothing to lose - they were trash to start out with. The Rockets have a workable product and just need a guy who fits in the system.
Two years ago after we reached the western conference finals, we did nothing. That was a bad move. This team has some holes it needs to fill.
Have you already forgotten about Ty Lawson? We gave up a first round pick for Lawson to help take some of the burden off Harden. Talk about an epic fail. Also, this tread was created during the all-star break. So, some people's opinions may have changed between then and now.
