He's an unrestricted free agent. This guy has championship experience and is a good defender and 3 point shooter. Tyler Ennis is clearly trash and we're in dire need of a pointguard that can actually do something with his minutes until Bev is back.
He was cleared to play several months ago too from his injury. I'd love him on the team if healthy (same with Cole) but Morey hasn't done **** to address this, don't hold your breath unfortunately.
Didn't realize both Norris Cole and Chalmers were free agents. What the heck is Morey doing? Do your job and get upgrades.
Chalmers has great length. Has very long arms. If healthy Chalmers is a better player on both ends than Bev. But he's coming off an Achilles injury. He may be cleared to play but it takes about a year for a player to get back to normal after an Achilles tear. They may be able to play but they're not the same for at least a year. Sometimes they never fully return to pre-injury form. In my opinion, Kobe never did make it all the way back. Age, mileage, and the Achilles combined to deteriorate his quicks and hops to sub-nba level. He had to rely on iq, will, and guts the last 2 seasons. I dont think Chalmers will be ready to contribute substantially for a while.....if ever.
they're supposed to be healing their injuries. just cuz you're cleared to play doesnt mean you're anywhere near 100%. being a pg u hav eto move a lot so i dont want eithe rof them this season.
He's grown to have a "toxic" reputation... think last year when Gerald Green got messed up near the beginning of the season, then they traded him away.
Don't hold your breath my friend. it's all about #flexibility and saving cap space for that superstar....
Reportedly - - MC is ticketed for Cleavesburg after he is able to play. A couple more months. LBJ wants him. Case closed.
I don't understand how we can see a guy sign in China and think "morey is asleep at the wheel" rather than, "this guy is not a NBA caliber player."
If Chalmers was able to play Cleveland would have already signed him. Judging by players who had such injuries at their 30s I'm not holding my breath.
