Gordan is a much better deal; more bang for the buck.

No they would rather have another team's pick than wait on the Rockets. Wait 5 years for a pick? Really? The Rockets have a history of success what happens if in 5 years they are still great? Also if you are a GM you might be fired already before your pick arrives, and even then it will be a low first rounder. Its just such a dumb idea I dont even know what made you say that in the first place.

When these other teams made their trades, they got lots of other stuff in addition to the picks that will arrive in 3+ years. Thats a far cry from giving up George, taking on 18M in salary only to receive a pick that will most likely be a low first rounder 5 years from now.

Barring the problem of matching salary etc. If you are given a choice of either Paul George or Eric Gordon, you take Paul George simply because he is a better player.

He shoots at a high % from 3s and he is capable of playing elite defense. He is the guy Harden has struggled with on a number of occasions.

With PG we can switch everything on the perimeter and still maintain top level defense on perimeter and he can make life hard for Durant or Kwahi when we stick PG on them.

Can you imagine a defensive lineup of CP, PG, Luc, and Tucker to go along with Harden? Or a shut down defensive lineup of CP, PG, Luc, Tucker, and Ariza when you need that one stop. They Are very good individual defenders and can shut down the passing lanes.

PG for EG is same as Beverley for CP. You always go for the best player and given that he fits our offensive and defensive scheme it's a no brainier.

PG as the third best player on the team is irresistible.

No brainer if you could do the trade. I love EG but PG is better than EG on both ends. PG would thrive here. But the Thunder would never trade him away for EG

You waited a month and almost two weeks for that?

    I'm impressed.

Not really. He's been playing great all season long. But most of you wouldn't know that anyway

If we had contracts for players other than Ryno, maybe we could have had both.

He was and is still the absolute perfect fit for this team. I hope we make a hard run at him in the offseason. I’d rather have him than lebron

I was referring to calling out the guy you called out, you came at him after a month and a half lol

FWIW I'm a huge PG honk to the point where I would prefer him over Lebron.

You waited two months for a big Paul George game to post this?

Meanwhile, like I said two months ago, Gordon remains a much better isolation player than George.

didnt wait for anything. someone like you would of probably tried to say something along the lines of its still early in the season. hes been playing well all year long. but yeah of course someone who doesn't watch the games enough wouldn't know this. yeah you still have issues if you actually think so.

This. Even if PG stays after this, he'd ask for more money than we'd like.

And DMorayy is prob still looking to nab Lebron in the off season.

    I’d love pg13

Not over Lebron because that’s just silly even though pg13 is a fantastic fit on this team with harden and cp3.

But Lebron still puts our ceiling even or maybe even slightly ahead of the warriors.

I’ll take George over most FAs, even Lebron.

It's actually scary how incapable of nuance you are...

The fact that Gordon is a better isolation scorer and can better take advantage of switching defenses doesn't mean George is the worst player in the NBA.
