Would you take Dwight Howard for the vet minimum?

What seems to be lost in all of this is that Dwight Howard became a horrendous defensive player post Rockets. He didn’t communicate, cheated off his man, didn’t protect the paint... all to put up big rebound numbers in an effort to get another big contract.

Talk about an incredibly sad second half of a career. Maybe Dwight and DeMarcus can swap stories.

I can't even believe someone brought this up. Howard has sucked for a long time. Why even consider it? I'd rather have boogie with a ruptured achilles that happened yesterday than Howard.

Howard wanted more post touches. Unfortunately he was a terrible post up guy by that point. Hips were shot.

I don't think so. Paul would get he and Harden back to how they were when they went to the conference finals together. Having Dwight off the bench or maybe even starting with Clint off the bench would be good imo.

What sucks about a guy like Dwight being on the market and dirt cheap and healthy is that if he just did the few things we needed him to do, he could help us get to that Championship level. He's got all the physical tools to dominate in just the way we need a big man to. He's just a nut and has lost his way. I don't know what happened to him but I think only a coach like Phil Jackson would be able to get through to him and maybe not even him at this point. Sad.

If Dwight would just focus on becoming a player like Deandre Jordan instead of like Hakeem asking for post-ups

Just like Demarcos Primo, Howard’s skill-set is becoming obsolete! Nuclear hard pass!!

If we can use small amount of money to get 2 all stars why not? Also no damage to our existing starters. It makes Houston stronger depth to protect the rim and vs Lakers. We can play more new strategies not just throwing 3 points. It is good chances for Morey to get both cousins and Howard. We dont get Marc gasol this year is Morey fault. He helps Raptors to get champion. It cannot repeat

    Morey says yes.

    His coveted 3rd star! Finally!

    Sign Melo and Brewer too.

We can trade Capela for Iggy and sign Javale as backup for an all-meme team.

Oh yea, forgot we should bring back Linsanity 4.0 as well!
