Today like 4 times + T-Mac got no call when driving to the basket but gets the call when he shoot jumpers. Why?

Is not tonight's game, since a while T-Mac get no call unless he is complete hammer going to the basket. Any other player get the call in the minimal contact made.

What's wrong? Should he flop? Should complain more?

I know we love when he drive, but he is getting no respect at all.

Because tmac doesnt drive at full blast like dwade/lebron

He runs up, stops, and gimps so the ref hesitates to blow the whistle.

him, yao, scola... just go down the line.

we just gotta start to "try" to dunk those balls and just maybe we'll get the calls.

tracy still has respect, but he just gotta start attack harder. that's the only way to earn the refs' respect. on 2 straight attacks in the 4th while we tried to come back, he clearly got fouled and got no calls.

He can't finish strong so he's not going to get much respect. Eventually, just running to the rim won't get you a call, you have to prove that you will finish. That's just a part of the game.

Kind of like how Wade did. The refs know that if he doesn't finish, it's probably a foul, because he used to drive it in and finish all the time.

Now, (or last couple seasons), Wade's been getting all kind of phantom calls. Nothing wrong with it, it's more power to you for training the refs.

Right now, the refs are seeing that T-Mac can't even finish if there's no foul, so why should they think otherwise even if there is some contact?

    Whatever

Any other player gets the call.

And he gets past his player a lot and still don get a call, not even in the post.

This year T-mac really hasn't gotten past his player. he usually runs into them and gets a call or doesn't get a call or makes a nice shot.

Right now he's not quick enough to just blow by his man. Gordon a rookie gave him a hard time tonight and T-mac never got by him and lost his handle a lot.

But as far as your thread question. When T-mac drives he has a habit of just running into his defender and sometimes he gets the call but most of the time he doesn't. If he can get a little bit more lift then maybe he will start to get more calls.

I belive he needs to go there a little bit stronger. But we can't complain, last 2 games he's gotten to the line 18 times. His knee is feeling good, he is agressive.

Why not Kobe does it too, even Lebron flops. Is like is the only way to get a call consistently.

I think he's right. He needs to finish stronger. Obviously, he needs some more athleticism to do that, so hopefully he'll lose that little belly soon, and becomes quicker and stronger.

Dude, I gave you my honest input. If you dont agree, thats fine, but thats the truth. Maybe you should realize that superstars will always get superstars calls, and tmac hasnt been in that elite status for awhile now. If you look back in his younger days, he avg 10 FTs a game! In the refs eyes, tmac is almost washed up.

Nice,we should ask Scola to do some teaching though. :D Then T-Mac flops when getting fouled.

not really. only one year tracy averaged 10 fts. other years, most around 7-8. this year, he is averaging 5. as long as he gets around 7ft attempts a game, that's pretty good.

just gotta regain that mid-range J. that used to be his strength. now the 3pt shot is his strenght

I agree. He is ONLY averaging 5 a game because he wes passive before he went out. He was just a guard waiting on the perimeter to get open 3s. that's all.

Right now he is back to 'his old'. He is playing on the post a lot and he is playing off the ball as well. Last two games he has been getting 9 times (making 8,5) a game. That is good. His free throws will be around 7, 8 at the end of the year if he can shoot 80% the entire season.

His midrange will come. We all know that. He needs several games to get his condition and shape going. He will be fine. The main thing is that the knee is not holding him back. He is damn not limping.

But yeah, he looks right on target with his 3s. pretty amazing.

If he screamed while driving to the basket, I'm sure he'd get more calls.

Because he goes in tip toeing hoping for a call instead of forcing one.
