Not sure about the McHale part. I've always felt that the McHale hiring-extension-firing was the biggest blunder in the Morey era.

I've also felt that the 2014-15 team overachieved with a little luck. Dwight's chemistry issue was already there. It just had not blown out. Looking back, would you not say that signing Dwight and keeping him did us more harm than good? That's exactly what a talented diva can cost you. It's a high reward high risk kind of thing.

 

Can you imagine Love's outlet passes on this team? Even after made baskets the guy is just so amazing and accurate with his outlets we can start transition offense so fast. His defense is bad of course but its not like Ryno is getting all-defense honors or anything. His range may not extend as far as Ryno but he does also provide a reliable low post presence if needed in a half court and is an amazing rebounder.

I'm not saying it will happen, but it will be discussed. We made Ryno available in the off-season, we will most likely make him available at the trade deadline as well. If Morey didn't at least probe the Cavs' interest on this, he simply wouldn't be doing his job. Which I know won't be the case, as we have the most active GM in the league, like him or not. If the Cavs have a fire sale in 2 weeks, I want in, and so should you.
