Now that no one can trade in front of us, who would like to us take with the 33rd overall pick?

Personally, I have no idea what we're going to do. Reach for a QB? Select Carr? Take a position player?

I was really hoping we could land Teddy, but another thread makes a good point--maybe we flat out didnt want him (as a fan I disagree, but w.e..)

So, what player do you want us taking? OT Moses from UVA? Tuitt? Cyrus K from Bama?

I'm guessing it will be Nix or Carr with an outside chance at a Tom Savage reach.

Trade back. I wouldn't mind a similar trade that the Seahawks just made.

Yep. Stock up. We got 3 QBs already. Let's make a defensive juggernaut and get a QB next season

Nix or Hageman. Not too sure about their games, but I want a DT to truly collapse the pocket. No more QBs just stepping up and buying 2-3 seconds of time.

If we trade back, we need to at least land an additional 3rd for compensation. I am fine with Carr, Jimmy G, or one of the NTs.

I laughed at the thought of Carr. Then I watched his Gruden Camp compared to some of the other guys. I can see why the front office thinks there is not much separation. This guy could easily be the best of them all. I would only think about Manziel based on his ceiling, but if i need a quality starting qb, im going Carr.

Carr is the best pure passer out of the entire class, but his problems are mental and could be harder to fix. That said, he does have a lot to work with and BOB is supposed to be a QB guru so who knows?

Question is, if Derek Carr's last name was different, would the Texans more strongly consider drafting him at #33?

I don't think it would affect the Texans, but the fans would certainly think differently. For example, change his name to "Manning" instead of "Carr" and you'd probably have had dozens of people calling for him to be picked #1 overall just due to lack of top tier talent at the position this year.
