What does MOOSE meat taste like?

I dunno about moose meat, but Moon Tower Inn and Sammy's Wild Game Grill have a variety of game meats. Elk, pheasant, kangaroo, etc.

 

Tastes just like it smells.

I actually have some in my freezer. Haven't made it yet, though so I can't give you an answer.

 

Go to the Scandinavian Peninsula. They make killer moose kebabs.

 

Don't know but I can tell you what horse and goat taste like.

 

Goat meat smells kinda funky. But delicious, though unhealthy.

Similar to reindeer

 

I've had reindeer and elk burgers, and if it's anything like those, it'll be spongy with a flavor not like any common meat you've tried. I really didn't like either.

 

I had reindeer and elk steak. They are very lean and doesn't have much flavor. You have to eat them pretty rare.

 

AND, you can just light up ANYTHING and smoke it while you eat. Apparently.

I'll have to invite you over for the next time I make my famous Minced Moose Meat Stew.

 

When I was a kid my cousin told me these were made with moose lips

 

For that matter, I wonder what bear meat tastes like?
