well like i mentioned jokingly, they were expecting to win 4 in a row easy. but it proved much more difficult than expected with a thin roster. in that first season they lost game 6 vs DAL w/ only 6 players even scoring for them. the next year adding battier and the one after that adding ray allen is what put them over the top

The players contracts are guaranteed. Most coaches have a buyout clause. No one is ever becomes homeless. The NBA is entertainment so even when the franchise is unsuccessful most fans still find it interesting. No player or coach thinks their current job is their’s for life. The organization knows everyone is just a placeholder till the next person and so on. Ever contract in the NBA has an end. Even the owners now they too are placeholders. That’s why it’s pay me now —> Tomorrow is always a day away —> never happens.

My issue is with saying this team will never be paying the tax and that we only traded for Shumpert because we need his contract to expire to continue getting under the cap. you even stated we have no intention of trying to resign him because of cap savings. You also keep stating that are only impetus for transactions was to keep under the cap and knock down any proof otherwise by claiming we did not really try and trade for Butler.
