USA is better than Mexico - there is not debate - sorry that the little south of the border country has seen better days, but now, it is the USA in ascension and Mexico as a never will be.

so by your definition, Ghana, would beat Brazil in a blowout too?
    since Ghana tied with Germany.

Not really. But he is right that a Brazilian team without Thiago and Neymar is pretty weak.

On a normal day I guess Germany would have beaten them 2:0, 3:1

Nothing for nothing, but here are the new FIFA rankings (link).
    1. Germany
    15. USA
    16. Costa Rica
    17. Croatia
    18. Mexico
Mexico did close the gap, but I still think that US team was better than the Mexican side before and during the World Cup.

haha, you really believe the FIFA rankings are good?

if you ask, a neutral fan, who did better in the world cup, they are going to say Mexico.

US was better BEFORE the world cup, but not DURING.

also, the rankings of the tournament says Mexico was better:

    9. Mexico
    15. USA

After the WOrld Cup, the USA lost 2 places and Mexico gained 2. So... that doesn't tell you anything? LOLs

Yeah, I agree. you get penalized for losing two games in the World Cup with losing two spots in the ranking. Good point.

Paper tiger you say, well, Brazil underachieved at both WCs before, 2006 and 2010 and Germany always was in contention for the Finals (Both 3rd place I believe)

It is not really that big of a surprise
