Oh boy. I take a tie.....Barkley in the Postseason. Regular season is somewhat relevant for playoff seeding.

What were t-mac’s stats in the playoffs again?

Barkley was good as a Rocket at times. But eh. Mcgrady was much better.

We got old washed up CB4. Tmac was closer to his prime. At his prime CB4 was a beast. He was harden before harden. He might hate analytics but Charles was an analytics monster.

Barkley is a 6'6 overweight dude playing the PF spot. The only reason he was effective was because analytics didn't exist in the 80's and the rules allowed him to play physical to make up for his lack of height. If Barkley played in today's NBA he probably wouldn't even make an NBA roster, at 6'6 can you imagine him guarding Anthony Davis, Kat, Porzingis? What a joke.

TMac is a career loser just like Barkley and he was lazy AF just like Barkley but at least he isn't a bitter old hypocrite like Barkley. More importantly he actually has the right height and skills for his position.

If you are really a rockets fan you would like Tmac more than Barkley because Barkley played only 3 years all of which he was injured a lot. Barkley was old and retired after only 3 years, he was really more of a sideact. Hakeem was the one doing the real work on those 3 years. Oth Tmac was the face of the franchise for 5 years, the team lived and died with him and Yao. I'm not even gonna touch on Barkley hating on the Rox since he retired.

You are really just showing your true colors you Barkley fanboy/grandpa.

Tmac was better individually, both were disappointing in large part because of injuries, both often say dumb stuff on major sports networks.

Charles Barkley averaged 26-12-4 on 66TS% from his age 23-26 seasons. He was an analytics monster.

Just because he he bad mouths the rockets doesn't mean he wasn't insanely good player. It is absurd to say he wouldn't be on an nba roster.

Are you serious? Harden plays in a system that has a lot of fts and 3s. How many 3s does Barkley make? Harden is one of the best playmakers in the league, how many assists does Barkley make? The only thing Barkley and Harden have in common is they both tend to get lazy on D.

Also Barkley is not an "analytics monster" as he only has a career 0.6% TS, pretty good but not exactly legendary for a big man who takes most of his shots in the paint(Dwight for example has a career 0.599 TS). He doesnt get a ton of fts either. The only thing Barkley did that was exceptional by analytics standards was rebounds.

And he did it in an era where grit and being physical mattered more than skills and ahtleticism. In this era Barkley can't get physical against his oppnents so he is a 6'6 guy trying to guard 7'1 dudes. I mean Draymond Green is 2 inches taller than him wtf.

Wow 3 year sample size is supposed to impress me? Thise years he had Julius Irving and Moses Malone mentoring him, even Rasheed Wallace will work hard with those 2 guys looking over his back.

It is absurd for you to say a 6'6 dude playing the PF position who has a Tmac-like attitude and work ethic would be a superstar in today's NBA. The only way for undersized players to suceed would be to be insanely driven like Draymond Green and Barkley is not like that at all. Like I said Barkley just coasted a lot on his talent he couldn't even manage his weight properly what more add to his skillset during the offseason. His attitude is a lot like Tmac I guess thats why Tinmac loves him so much.

He won't even be a PF today coaches will look at him and put him at the SF or guard spot. How is Barkley's perimeter shooting like?
