This is gonna sound weird but I need a club sandwhich right now...

    I'm not looking for something outside the box but just a good ole fashioned club sandwich, don't really feel like making one myself and im out of deli meats anyway. Any good spots for this in north side of H-town or should I just say **** it and go to bed?

    I love Tha_Dude's semi-emergency, munchies threads.

    I'm about to make some nachos right now.

    Go to the nicest hotel with a restaurant. Not kidding. Those can be the best Club Sandwiches. And they have a bar, too, that surely serves White Russians. You might even be able to steal a robe for your collection.

    Any breakfast diner's nearby who serve lunch.

    Like Westin? Embassy Suites? Was thinking about getting out of this for less than 10 bucks though I failed to mention that in the OP. The woodlands resort probably has what I want but not looking to spend 20 bucks on a sandwich.

    This is a good idea. I only go there for crawfish but they probably have something for me as far as sandwiches go, they certainly have some lovely staff to serve me which is always nice too.

    Just to update the thread. I went to Katz's deli down the street from my house, tried their country club sandwich and it was decent enough. A bit pricey, i think it was about 13 bucks which is more than I wanted to spend but i really needed to get the club sandwich won.

    They put some sort of hollandaise dressing on it which I thought was weird and the bread to meat ratio favored the bread more than I would have liked. In the end I give it a C-, would be a B if it were cheaper but if im gonna spend that kind of money on a sandwich it had better be outstanding and this one was just sort of, meh.
