Yeah..weird but funny when the announcers called him 'Qi'(Chee) which is his first name, his family name is Zhou(Joe), kinda reverse to American.

THERE IT IS!! A good comment. 51 comments till something that was actually worthy of discussion. 1st 50 comments... From he's the greater than Ryan Anderson... I'm offender by a word, where's my safe space from this redneck... Let's call each other names...

I was thinking about the fact he is in a completely new environment and looked like he's played with these guys a thousand times. It is one summer league game but I think he'll be good in the G-League and work his way up to the NBA. He's young with lots of room to improve.

    Thanks OP.

i'm excited at the level of skill and athleticism i saw. he's further along than anticipated.

as of today he's our 9th or 10th best player. i know the rockets will add more vets who are better than him before training camp but he's probably going to be with the rockets for much of the season and maybe head down to the G league just to get him some run. i dont think he spends all year with RGV.

he reminds be a bit (not his style of play of course) of capela. no one thought he was nba ready in his rookie year, but he played well in the playoffs without ever playing in the regular season. the next year no one thought he was ready to be a rotation player and at times he was better for the team than dwight. last year no one thought he'd be ready to start, but we had a great year. i think qi has the same potential to be ahead of his expected timeline.

if qi and capela can both polish their games and fill out their frames, what a front court pair!

Oh my god please let this kid come off the bench. I will get such a good laugh watching him if this dude starts balling out

But for real though we should let him come off the bench. He looks like his body is a natural fit and doesn't look clumsy at all. He also looks smart enough to where he would know his role at the 4

If we actually trade Anderson for Melo, we should let this kid start at 4. I really wanna see us develop a young player and it would be toooo good to watch this kid ball out.
