tuus, thanks for the info. I don't think anyone here can confirm. My guess is the report is a little premature (I don't think he's allowed to sign until the moratorium), but Spanoulis is expected to sign this offseason.

    Already signed a contract?!!

May be they meant that he was drafted as a 2nd rounder by an NBA team, and they thought that meant he was "under contract" by an NBA team.

Regardless, I do think this kid will be here if not next season, then the one after it for sure. I still think he will be on the roster next season. But we would have one too many guards if that is the case, unless we let JB go and not resign him.

That means he is 6'3.5" (1 ft = 30.48 cm, so divide 192 by 30.48, you get 6.299 ft)

    6' is 183 cm
    10 cm is 4 inches, so he's roughly 6 foot 3 and a half.

Thanks. I tried to forget as much of the metric system as I could

That's good size. I like the penetration part of his game. I hope European quickness translates to NBA quickness.

well, in the end of '80-s begun in local sports press first articles about NBA - Magic, Jordan, Bird etc. one article was about Olajuwon-Ewing as a new big duel. and i liked what they said about Hakeem, 'couse i just started to play bball in highschool and he seemed to be also so good shot blocker as i was ;)
and then in University i got access to Internet and so my interest about Hakeem and Rockets continued..

about Spanoulis signing - i wrote to the agency what represents him, but still no answer in 2 days!

The best the Rockets can offer is a 2 year 2nd round rookie contract, right? He mentions at the end of that article that he might play with the Rockets if they offered him a 3 year guaranteed contract...I don't think they can even do that.
