What makes players with whom DaDakota fall in love suck at NBA basketball? Their minds or their bodies?

Nachbar was a solid player when he was at NJ.

I can just feel the love !!!!!

This is what happens when you are not afraid of putting your opinion out there.....sometimes, you are wrong...can't be afraid of that.

Funny thread - got to love the DDingleberries. :)

I would say all of them were mental.....

V-Span could not get over being the man, and got in a fight with his coach - bad idea. - Also, all I ever said about him was that Rafer sucked and he should be getting some time to find out if he was part of the future - the facts are different than the reality.

Boki actually played fairly well as a 6th man, but never as a starter - also fought with same coach as V-Span bad Idea- another case of reality being different than facts, I said at top end he could develop into a 3rd option but was more than likely a 4th -6th option - uh, which he was.

Langhi - was the man in college running off of picks and shooting, he played like Novak.....but could not nor would not get those opportunities in the NBA.

Sometimes players have a very difficult time adjusting from being the man to just one of the men....Tmac is going through that now.

    ;)

    DD

PS...Don't forget JJ Redick, Mike Harris, Aaron Brooks, Shane Battier, Yao Ming, and tons of others...

Funny how you diss a NBA team, when you'd be more then happily have Sean Williams or Josh Boone.

Well the Rockets had hope for those 3 players, at least we got Scola out of one of them.

My point being: Can we leave TMac alone?

The guy played thusands of quality minutes for the Rockets and yet he gets criticized for everything he might have done better in people's minds.

At the same time, praise gets heaped upon players who contributed much less to the team.

regardless whether they are good or bad, the most important thing is that we did not pay too much for them.

The failure in your thread is the lack of praise......I criticize anyone that deserves it.....including TMac, Yao....JVG...anyone....

If I think they deserve it......you know...what a sports message baord is for...discussion (Including criticism).

I never understand people who just critize other fans discussing the team, if you are a glass is half full guy, then just ignore the threads.....whining about us whiners is a waste of time.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!!

    and Sura falls in faint.

    ok, that was too obvious.

and DaDakota says, see I was right!

and no one notices because everyone is white in the bar.

...but can't get past the cover.

    The bartender asks, "Whaddya having"
    Nachbar: I'm the designated driver
    Langhi: too scared to speak
Spanoulis: the Proof is in the hotdog

I don't like the way this thread is going. Boki laid the wood to Karla. I don't care what else he ever did as a basketball player, we Rocket fans need to honor him for that and to lump him with these other two is a disgrace.

It's one thing that they didn't pan out, but to label them as alcoholics is way out of bonds. Why do they always have to be going to a bar? Why can't spanoulis cross the road or something?

    =(

T-Mac is legitimately deserving of some of the criticism he gets. Yeah, some of it goes overboard, but the guy asks for a lot of it.

Church! That what I love the most about Rockets fans (and Clutchfans). We have our share of homers, but in general the players don't get an Easy Pass from criticism, especially the leaders of the team.

    ok,

Why did Langhi cross the road?
--wow, really, he made it? he didn't get that deer in the headlights look halfway?

Why did Spanoulis cross the road?
--to avoid JVG walking down the sidewalk

Why did Nachbar cross the road?
--to go to his favorite snachbar
