Heard Boston wants McLemore, I. Thomas, and two first rounders from Sacramento... They are talking to several teams.
Depends on what they give up, this move could easily make the team worse if it kills their big man depth for a guy who isn't a good fit with the team.
My guess is that Parsons is going to require too much $$ in free agency and Morey isn't going to want to pay him. I don't like this at all but I'll wait for it to play out.
If the Rocket's are willing to give up Parsons, then it shows Morey's reservations as to giving him that big contract he is due soon.
Really Parsons gone? I would seriously wonder what else we are getting besides Rondo as ancillary pieces.
Or they don't believe they will be able to re-sign Parsons especially if they make him unrestricted in 2015.
Hard to beat the Lakers' offer if they include their own (2014 high lotto) pick. Those high lotto picks are crack for rebuilding teams' GMs. What can Morey offer? Some combo of Lin, Asik, TJones, DMo, and/or low 1st round pick(s)?
I'm curious how team chemistry would look like after a trade like this, the Lin,Bev combo is really starting to gell,Rondo is a ball dominant player with no jumpshot at all, and Harden is also ball dominant,Is Morey just trading for names with no thought to chemistry?..a wing defender who can shoot is a more pressing need for THIS ball club,Morey has mostly made the right moves so far so we will see
