    Warriors bench

    Livingston
    Iguadala
    Carter
    Randolph
    McGee

It will probably end up better than that once free agency is over.

I thought Williams, Shumpert, Korver, Frye, and Bogut would kill... Turned out only two of them mattered. Could be the case with whatever bench the Warriors assemble.

Given the age of most of those guys, that's honestly not all that great. It's better than average, for sure, but their starters are still by far the primary game-breakers.

I think Livingston, Iguodala and even McGee will get substantial offers. The Warriors could match on Iggy and Livingston, they won't have Bird rights on McGee (though the MLE will likely be plenty) but it'll start the process of tax hell early--which is a pretty bad thing when costs soar even higher in a couple of years.

I think they'll let McGee and maybe even Livingston go. If Iggy really gets a $20M offer (I'm dubious) I'm sure the Warriors will let him go too. They can't possibly afford to pay a bench guy, even one as good as Iguodala, that much.

They need minimum contract guys who don't care about money at all, just the ring. There probably will be more than just Randolph or Carter, though.

Not sure why people thought the Warriors wouldn't be able to constantly get decent vets at min. contracts for their bench?

They might not get exactly what Iggy and Livingstone gave them, but even if those guys leave, they'll have decent options.

    This seemed completely obvious.

Iggy looked like he found the fountain of youth before game five. Those highlights should be all his agent needs to command one last payday.

It's going to be interesting what happens to the Warriors bench. Carter would be great, but I don't see Randolph's fit. Specific skill sets would be great for them, but there's a need for Iggy/Livingston talent, too.

I love it. Screw competition. As a gambler I love it when the team I bet on routinely covers the spread.

The 16-17 warriors will always have a place in my heart for the money they made me.

I'm gonna be all over the 17-18 warriors as well. Is there any way to get Lebron on this team?

No I don't give any actually crap about the warriors or curry or Durant. I root with my money.

I have an idea. Let's have a 2-team league, the Warriors and the Cavaliers (or just call them the West and the East). They can sign unlimited number of players. There is no regular season. Just a 1001-game Finals series. 10 games are played at a time. Each team deploys 10 sub-teams to play in those games each night. The team that wins 501 games first wins the title, and every player who signed on that team will get a ring.

This is the ultimate superteam contest.

So when Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt were dominating in the Olympics in their events, were those events over before the Olympics even started?

No they were not because there was still value in seeing who would get Silver or Bronze. Also Phelps or Bolt could have gotten cramps or something.

As a Grizz fan, I will say that Zach isn't joining the warriors, that's bunk.

I do think that Vince might though, since I believe memphis isn't going to offer him a contract and he is keeping his options open.
