I get that its his identity at all but how long is that thing going to last? Its starting to look real nasty.

I mean at the very least trim that thing before it gets out of control! His beard looks like he just took a bunch of pubes and taped it onto his face.

I think that if it where going to look like pubes, it would look shorter. Besides, if he gets it long enough, then nobody will want to guard him because they wouldn't want to risk touching his sweaty beard. It's an awesome strategy. He should grow it biker long, just not so long that he would trip over it during the game.

If the Rockets get swept in the 1st round, then Harden should shave his beard off as penance.

The other players can shave their heads.

No way, it's a huge part of his brand. But it is getting a little shaggy, he should consider trimming it.

His agent is probably telling him not to as it helps make him a memorable and marketable player. (e.g. moochie norris fro, luis scola's long hair, norris cole/iman shumpert haircut)

his beard a year or two ago was tight, this beard is turning into a lumberjack beard. If it wasn't for his fauxhawk, he'd look like a savage.

He's probably contractually obligated to have the beard. All those "fear the beard" t-shirts.

If he shaves his beard it might make him more aerodynamic

I think it looked best cut low like his rookie year.

Doesn't really matter though. He could take LeBron's headband and put it on his beard for all I care.
