There should be some system that gets rid of bad owners. Some franchises are bad for years, even decades, because of bad ownership. The league should have some kind of standards to hold them accountable.
The NBA office has black balled him. They do not like his approach to rebuilding and believe it compromised the league. They strongly advocate against him.
He wouldn't have tank much in PHX. At least not more than they're doing already. What a shame, he'd be better than half of the GMs in the league.
Nook, would Hinkie consider coming back to the Rockets in an assistant GM capacity? If he is being black balled, that might be the best first step to get back for him.
That's your problem? Mchale is a genius compared to Pax! All Bulls fans will gladly volunteer to drive him to the airport since this is the only way to get rid of him. But hiring either of them is a surefire way the Suns will remain a dumpster fire for the foreseeable future.
True, but I gotta give him some credit as a ex-Rockets coach. He was pretty awful for the most part in Houston though.
I honestly don’t know. He and Daryl have a good relationship so I am sure it is something they have discussed. Hinke really did not like how his time in Philadelphia ended and how ownership and the league mocked him.
McHale was one of the worst decision Morey made. But I also thought that too when he hired MDA, so what do I know.
McHale was hired to babysit during a rebuild. No one anticipated us getting Harden or how good he would be at the time we hired McHale. He's a good guy if you're looking to build culture, but he won't take you over the top.
