Dude has been nails this series. If he’s hitting his 3 he is a legit 2 way player and damn near irreplaceable.

I, for one, welcome our new savior.

Eric is playing so well that he's making me totter at the thought of moving him in an eventual opt in trade for Butler...really sucks we don't have that Knight kind of contract to move, but i guess we could still try to resign Shumpert to a similar contract and move him around December...

He has surpassed both Chris Paul and Clint Capela and has become our 2nd most important player. PJ Tucker might have surpassed those two as well.

    Gordon is a keeper.

But he is a free agent after next year so I would consider trading him if his agent isn't interested in an extension for a better player under more years.

MDA was stedfast in having Eric Gordon as the starting SF. Many fans wanted him coming off the bench as a 6th man. We see now with this roster why Eric Gordon is starting.

Some say Butler is much better but I only see 18.7 ppg on a very average team that was the Wolves.

Ah, I see you, it's you Vivi. FWIW, in this system would not surprise me one bit if Gordon did as well as Butler or better.

Again for half the money or less.

I wish we signed that extension we were offering him..but i bet him and his agent thought we were doing that just to trade him, and i cant blame him for that.

But he has betted on himself, and seems to be winning..... He is in line for a 3/$60 mil deal...and it would be justified if he plays this way and stays healthy throughout the 2019-2020 season.

I have said this over and over again when so many were against him. He is the Xfactor. He is the person who either makes us elite or a subpar team.

I stand by my words. Thank you for not letting me down, Eric Gordon.

If he's not making his 3's, he has the capability to attack the rim. If he's making his 3's attacking the rim becomes another weapon for him.

It's amazing how underrated his defense is (and Harden's for that matter).

I’d keep him over paying for a butler/Beal he’s still crazy underrated. Only concern is age and injury, but besides that he’s the perfect fit for this system.

We need our other guys to take some of the scoring load off of Gordon. Can’t expect him to be as efficient at 3 at the rate that he’s shooting it every game.

I think he'll re-sign. He was drafted in 08 so this is his tenth season and FA will occur after his eleventh. A guy on the back end of his career will probably not get a long term contract or top dollar, which means the money shouldn't be too big an obstacle provided he doesn't want to move on his own which is always possible.
