Obrien has officially named mallett the starter. But... But... But it's not Fitzpatrick fault!

BoB Press Conference on now. Mallet is the new starting QB. Something about desperate times calling for desperate measures...

How many times do they have to put Keenum in before y'all stop calling the radio? Now I've got to listen to people crying about playing Savage for 6 weeks.

Sweet. This will help Swearinger stop just throwing shoulders at ball-carriers, plus it will help the offensive line block better, and make Cushing run faster!!

    Woohoo!!

Plus, JJ Watt will finally start playing well for a change! ;)

I wonder who made the decision? Doesn't really matter I guess. We need to find out if Mallett can play, just like last year with Case.

I'm OK with a tank job if that's what happens. I just hope next year we can draft some players that can actually play and contribute.

It's sad that it took this long. I knew right away since the first preseason game that Fitzpatrick was going to be awful.

He has no sense of timing, rhythm, pocket presence, stares down his receivers, turnover prone and has a weak limp dick of an arm.

We have Schaub back again but with a stronger arm. Not accurate and the plays Fitz scrambled when he was getting pressured will now be sacks.

You don't know what it will do. Texans best hope is probably Clowney balling out though.

Mallet can't extend a play with his feet but i'm hopeful he'll make it up with actually passing the ball. has fitzpatrick even completed a pass in the air over 20 yards? if this season is over i'd rather go down with Mallet.

Possibly, but maybe Mallet will get the ball out faster.
