    My main takeaway from this thread is that according to basketball reference, Rudy Gay somehow acquired the nickname "The Great Rudini" without me noticing sometime in the last decade.

    He most likely wont be ready to play by the beginning of the year. Looking at atleast til the All star break. I dont pay him anything more than the full MLE. Just my opinion.

    That being said he's publicly stated he wants to play in Miami where he lives now. But he's busting his ass to get back

    Not sure he's clear for basketball activities yet so he could be out strike out option late in free agency
